MoMac Brewing Co. has begun renovation on 6,600 square feet of space in the Academy Crossing Shopping Center at 3228 Academy Drive in Portsmouth.

When completed, the space will include a viewable, onsite brew works, a private meeting room and a covered outdoor seating area, Portsmouth city officials said in a news release Jan. 30. The brewery and tasting room are slated to open this summer.
